The Shared List provides:
- A user-friendly database where qualified job seekers who are eligible for employment under the Schedule A hiring Authority can post their resume and credentials to be considered for priority employment.
- Assist the Department of Defense in meeting the hiring goals of people with targeted disabilities, as determined by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), or individuals with non-targeted disabilities.
- An affirmative employment program for people with disabilities and disabled veterans (DVAAP). Designed to provide hiring managers an easy way to identify individuals with disabilities who can fill vacant position without utilizing the full complete process.
