Pre-ETS Community Workshops
All Community Workshops require RSVP.

10/11 In person CLW 5:30-7:30 When Life Gets Spooky!
Social hour where youth will discover ways to handle spooky life/work situations.
10/18 In person 6:00-7:30pm CLW Office- What is a resume? Youth will learn about the components of a resume. How to put together a resume and why they should have one.
10/25 In person 5:00-7:30pm. Disability Awareness.
The youth will learn about the importance of disability awareness. The group will also be watching Crip Camp which covers Camp Jened a summer camp for the disabled from 1950’s-1970’s.
10/26 Zoom 4:00-5:00pm. IEP.
Youth will learn what the IEP is and why it is SO important.
Any youth who are between the ages of 14-21 in high school or post-secondary education, with a disability, who are interested in joining Pre-ETS are strongly encouraged to apply directly on our website. You can apply by following this link: https://www.centerlw.org/mrc-pre-employment/
To qualify for Pre-ETS, students must be 14 through 21 in high school or secondary-education with a disability. All students must have documentation to verify their disability. Documentation can include a 504 Plan, Individualized Education Plan (IEP or other medical documentation).
